UAlbany Selected First in Men's Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll

BOSTON –UAlbany men’s indoor track & field was picked to defend their conference crown in the 2025-26 #AETF Preseason Poll, which was released on Thursday afternoon.
 
The Great Danes have won claimed the last two titles and won16 of the past 19 championships overall, placing second the three times they didn’t win. UMass Lowell was selected second with 50 points and has finished first or second at the indoor championship each of the past eight years.
 
UMBC was picked third with 46 points after a third place finish in 2025, its highest finish in a decade. Binghamton took fourth with 41 points and the remaining first place vote, while Maine (39) rounded out the top five.

The 2025-26 Indoor season gets underway tomorrow in earnest this weekend as eight of nine programs compete between Friday-Sunday.
 
The 2026 #AETF Indoor Championship will be held Friday, Feb20 – Saturday, Feb. 21 at Boston University.  The championship will be streamed on ESPN+ once again.
