New Hampshire Picked First in 2025-26 Women’s #AESD Preseason Poll

BOSTON – After claiming the 2025 conference crown, New Hampshire was selected first in the 2025-26 America East Women’s Swimming & Diving Preseason Poll, as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Wildcats took home 5 of 7 first place votes and totaled 35 points as they won their sixth conference championship in the past eight seasons in 2025. New Hampshire has finished first or second in each of the past 13 championships under head coach Josh Willman.
 
Vermont earned second with 28 points and first place vote, after winning the title in 2024 and finishing third in 2025. Bryant was right behind with 27 points and a first place vote for third, following a runner-up finish at last year’s championship. UMBC (24), Binghamton (16), Maine (11) and VMI (6) rounded out the field.

This year’s #AESD Championship will take place from Feb. 18-21 on the campus of VMI for a third straight year.
