Swimming & Diving 9/24/2025 12:00:00 PM Binghamton Selected First in 2025-26 Men’s #AESD Preseason Poll BOSTON – Following back-to-back conference championships, Binghamton was picked first in the 2025-26 America East Men’s Swimming & Diving Preseason Poll, as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon. The Bearcats took home four first place votes and totaled 24 points after winning the 2025 conference title by 52.2 points over UMBC. It marked their second straight conference crown and third in the last five years under head coach Jerry Cummiskey. UMBC was selected second with 21 points and a single first place vote. The Retrievers won consecutive championships in 2022 and 2023. Bryant took third in the poll with 18 points and a first place vote after top three finishes in each of the team’s three seasons in the league. NJIT was picked fourth (12), followed by VMI (8) and Maine (7). The 2025-26 season begins on Sunday as Binghamton competes in the Le Moyne Invitational.
