BOSTON – Vermont and New Hampshire left no doubt about their regular season champion qualifications on the final day of the regular season, while UAlbany scored three times in the fourth and OT to stun UMass Lowell in a busy day of action.
The Catamounts and Wildcats both earn the title of regular season champion with matching 4-1 records, but Vermont is the No. 1 seed due to its 4-3 victory over UNH earlier this season.

The #AEFH Championship features a new format in 2025, with higher seeds hosting in every round of the #AEFH Championship. Quarterfinal action begins on Sunday, Nov. 2, followed by the Semifinals on Tuesday, Nov. 4. The #AEFH Championship will take place on Friday, Nov. 7 at the highest remaining seed.

All five games of the 2025 #AEFH Championship will air on ESPN+ domestically and AmericaEast.TV internationally. The final seeds for the 2025 #AEFH Championship are:

	- Vermont (4-1) – The defending tournament champions earned their first regular season title this year and the No. 1 seed.
- New Hampshire (4-1) – Seeded second for the second straight year and the Wildcats earned a share of first regular season title since 2013
- UAlbany (3-2) – Fifth straight season in the #AEFH Championship field
- UMass Lowell (3-2) – Secured a top-four seed for the third time in the past four years.
- Maine (1-4) – Earned 17th straight #AEFH Championship appearance
- Bryant (0-5) – First-ever #AEFH Championship appearance
Vermont finished with a 4-1 mark in conference play, outscoring its final three conference opponents by a 9-1 margin. The Catamounts lone blemish on the season was a 2-1 loss at UMass Lowell. New Hampshire, meanwhile, was also 4-1 and led the league in scoring with 23 goals in five conference games.

UAlbany’s dramatic overtime win at UMass Lowell pushed its record to 3-2 and into a tied with the River Hawks. The Great Danes’ victory provided the tiebreak to earn the No. 3 seed and a home quarterfinal playoff game against No. 6 Bryant on Sunday. The winner travels to face No. 2 UNH on Tuesday. No. 4 UMass Lowell will play host to No. 5 Maine on Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m., with a trip to top seed Vermont on the line this coming Tuesday.

The championship final will be played at the top remaining seed on Friday afternoon.
