BOSTON – With two games remaining in conference play it’s a four way tie for first-place with over half the teams sitting at 2-1.
Need to Know:
- Vermont's Sophia Lefranc found the game winner in 2OT as the Catamounts edged UAlbany, 1-0, for the second time in as many meetings
- Maine had a strong offensive weekend recording a 6-1 win over Bryant on Friday before turning the page with a five goal shutout over Boston University
- New Hampshire posted a seven goal shutout-win over UMass Lowell, due in part to Nicole Poulakis’ four-straight goals
- This weekend UAlbany hosts New Hampshire, UMass Lowell travels to Maine, and Vermont is at Bryant in league play.

- Had a 12 point week with six goals scored
- Recorded four-straight goals in the Wildcats’ win over UMass Lowell before logging two goals in the match against Boston College
- This is Poulakis’ third #AEFH Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
Defensive Player of the Week
Maddy Weaver, Vermont – Jr., Defender, Hummelstown, PA
- Helped anchor a Catamount defense that went 2-0 on the week and post two shutouts
- Recorded her second collegiate goal with the game-winner against Dartmouth
- This is Weaver’s first #AEFH Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
Rookie of the Week
Nicole Kowalewski, Maine – Fr., Defender, Midhirst, Taranaki, New Zealand
- Had a four point week logging two goals
- Stretched her goal scoring streak to three-straight with goals in Maine's wins over Bryant and Boston University
- This is Kowalewski’s first #AEFH Rookie of the Week honor.
