BOSTON – Vermont posted a perfect 2-0 week, while UMass Lowell earned a shutout victory as #AEFH teams wrapped up another week of non-conference action.
Need to Know:
- Vermont went 2-0 on the week, shutting out Merrimack, 6-0, before earning a 2-0 road win over Dartmouth.
- UMass Lowell shut out Brown, 2-0, behind a strong defensive effort.
- New Hampshire’s matchup against Holy Cross was postponed.
- All-Conference teams were announced on August 6.

Offensive Player of the Week
Addie DelOrefice, Vermont – Jr., Forward, Berwyn, Pa.
- Recorded three goals and two assists for eight points during Vermont’s 2-0 week.
- Scored a goal and dished out two assists for four points in the Catamounts’ 6-0 win over Merrimack.
- Scored both goals in Vermont’s 2-0 road victory over Dartmouth.
Defensive Player of the Week
Fiona McMahon, Vermont – So., Defender, Rome, N.Y.
- Helped the Catamounts post back-to-back shutouts while outscoring their opponents 8-0.
- Recorded three assists for three points during Vermont’s 2-0 week.
- Dished out two assists in the Catamounts’ 6-0 victory over Merrimack.
- Added an assist in Vermont’s 2-0 shutout win at Dartmouth.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Megan MacMiller, UMass Lowell – So., GK, Tarzana, Calif.
- Played the second half of UMass Lowell’s 2-0 shutout victory over Brown.
- Made four saves over 30 minutes of action.
Rookie of the Week
Frédèrique van den Dungen, UMass Lowell – Fr., Back, Rosmalen, Netherlands
- Played the entire game in UMass Lowell’s 2-0 shutout victory over Brown.
- Helped anchor a River Hawk defense that did not allow a goal.
- Recorded an assist on the game-winning goal.
