BOSTON – Four #AEFH programs earned at least one win this week, with Bryant going a perfect 2-0.

Need to Know:

• Bryant went 2-0, defeating Boston University, 4-1, before shutting out Sacred Heart, 4-0.
• UMass Lowell split its two games, earning a 4-1 win over Stonehill before falling to No. 12 Syracuse, 3-2, in a shootout.
• Vermont earned a 3-1 win over Fairfield.
• Maine shut out Dartmouth, 1-0, behind seven saves from Annabel Halkes.
• All-Conference teams were announced on August 6.

2026 #AEFH Weekly Award Winners – Sept. 22
 

Offensive Player of the Week
Valentina Funes, Bryant – Gr., Back, Buenos Aires, Argentina

• Scored five goals in two wins for the Bulldogs.
• Scored in Bryant’s 4-1 victory over Boston University, the program’s first-ever win over the Terriers.
• Scored all four goals in Bryant’s 4-0 win over Sacred Heart, the Bulldogs’ first win over the Pioneers in 10 years.
• Tied the Bryant single-game program record for goals with four.
• This is Funes’ first #AEFH Offensive Player of the Week honor.

Defensive Player of the Week
Lara Cleophas, Vermont – Jr., DCM, Amstelveen, The Netherlands

• Collected a career-high three points on three assists in Vermont’s 3-1 win over Fairfield.
• Recorded an assist on every goal the Catamounts scored against the Stags.
• Helped Vermont hold Fairfield to just four shots, including one on goal.
• The win marked Vermont’s first road victory over Fairfield since 1995.
• This is Cleophas’ first #AEFH Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.

Goalkeeper & Rookie of the Week
Annabel Halkes, Maine – Fr., Goalkeeper, Haarlem, The Netherlands

• Made seven saves in Maine’s 1-0 shutout win over Dartmouth.
• Captured her third shutout victory and fourth win of the season.
• Lowered her goals-against average to 1.69 and raised her save percentage to .815 with the performance.
• This is Halkes’ third career #AEFH Goalkeeper & Rookie of the Week honor.
