BOSTON – Week four of #AEBASE play took place over the weekend with Binghamton being the biggest mover. The Bearcats swept a three-game set at NJIT to move into second place in the league standings at 6-3, one and a half games behind idle UMBC (5-1).
UAlbany took two of three games at NJIT while Binghamton won a pair vs. UMass Lowell and UMBC took two against Maine.
This weekend, UAlbany visits Bryant, Binghamton hosts UMBC and UMass Lowell entertains NJIT.

Player of the Week
Nic Pepe, Maine – Jr., Second Baseman, Sarasota, Fla.
- Slashed .333/.538/1.000 in a 2-1 weekend against Bryant.
- Hit two home runs, the latter being the decisive blast, a grand slam, in a 5-2 win over Bryant on Saturday.
- Drove in six.
- This is Pepe’s first #AEBASE Player of the Week honor of the season.
Pitcher of the Week
Dylan Banner, UAlbany – Sr., Pitcher, Plainview, N.Y.
- Threw a complete game and earned the victory in a win over UMass Lowell on Friday.
- Allowed just two earned runs in a full nine innings with six strikeouts and zero walks.
- This is Banner’s first #AEBASE Pitcher of the Week honor of the season.
Rookie of the Week
Rowin O’Connor, NJIT – R-Fr., First Base, Seattle, Wash.
- Had a 1.611 OPS in four games.
- Had two home runs, scored four runs and drove in six.
- This is O’Connor’s first #AEBASE Rookie of the Week honor of the season.
