Men's Basketball 11/10/2025 11:01:13 AM Men's #AEHoops Week 1: Long's Career Day Nets Weekly Honor BOSTON – The 2025-26 #AEHoops season got underway last week with six programs earning wins, including preseason league favorite Vermont going 3-0. Need to Know Vermont posted an 89-84 double overtime win at Brown on Sunday. TJ Long scored a career-high 40 points and added 13 rebounds. The 40-point performance was the first in men’s college basketball this season. Long joins Jameel Warney and Taylor Coppenrath as the only #AEHoops players to record a double-double while scoring at least 40 points in the last 30 years. NJIT opened its season with a 72-61 win at Fordham. Freshman David Bolden scored 18 points in his debut. Eighteen more games take place this week. The men’s preseason poll and All-Conference team was announced on Oct. 21 Fans will once again be able to watch every #AEHoops game this season regardless of where they live! The majority games will air on The AE on ESPN, either ESPN+, in the United States. Games will also be available internationally on AmericaEast.TV. Rookie of the Week David Bolden, NJIT – Fr., Guard Averaged 15.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals in a 1-1 week for NJIT> This is Bolden’s first #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor this year.
