BOSTON – It was a week of buzzer beaters in America East as UMBC and NJIT combined for three last-second victories to go a combined 4-0 on the week. Additionally, Vermont stayed perfect at 4-0 while Bryant and UAlbany also picked up wins.

- UMBC posted wins over Morgan State and Wagner last week to move to 3-1. DJ Armstrong hit last-second shots in both games to lift UMBC to victory. He earned America East Co-Player of the Week for this efforts.
- Armstrong hit a three-pointer with one second left vs. Morgan State on Tuesday in an 81-79 win to cap off a 17-point effort.
- With his team trailing by one vs. Wagner in overtime on Sunday, he hit a jumper as time expired to give the Retrievers a 71-70 victory.
- NJIT’s Ari Fulton also got into the buzzer beater action. His last-second shot vs. Loyola on Tuesday lifted NJIT to a 66-64 win. He had career highs of 22 points and 14 rebounds in that game and averaged 17.0 points and 12.0 boards for the week en route to earning Co-Player of the Week accoladed.
- Vermont improved to 4-0 and is the lone unbeaten team in the league after beating Northeastern on the road Saturday, 85-74. Gus Yarden scored a career-high 18 points to lead the effort.
- Bryant raised its 2025 America East Championship banner prior to its game vs. Dartmouth on Wednesday and then came away with an 82-75 win vs. the Big Green. Quincy Allen led the way with 20 points.
- Sixteen more games take place this week.
- The men’s preseason poll and All-Conference team was announced on Oct. 21

- Averaged 14.5 points and 4.0 assists while hitting two buzzer-beating game winners to lift UMBC to a 2-0 week.
- Hit a three-pointer with one second left vs. Morgan State on Tuesday in an 81-79 win to cap off a 17-point effort.

- Followed up with 12 points, 10 boards and four assists in a win over FDU on Saturday.

- Averaged 15.0 points and 6.0 assists in a 2-0 week for NJIT.
- Scored a career-high 23 points and added eight assists and four rebounds in a win over FDU on Saturday.
- This is Bolden’s second-straight #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor
