BOSTON – After a highly competitive regular-season that saw 18 games decided by one goal and 11 more end in ties, the seedings and pairings for the 2025 America East Women’s Soccer Championship were finalized on Thursday. Maine and Bryant snagged the final spots in the tournament, while Vermont claimed the No. 2 seed and UMass Lowell and the Black Bears earned home quarterfinal games.
Binghamton, which had a bye on Thursday, had already locked up the league’s regular-season title and will be No. 1.
The championship commences on Sunday with quarterfinal action. All games of the 2025 America East Women’s Soccer Championship will air on ESPN+ domestically and AmericaEast.TV internationally. The final seeds for the 2025 America East Women’s Soccer Championship are:
1. Binghamton – Earned the No. 1 seed for the third time in the last four years.
2. Vermont – Seeded 2nd for second time in 3 years
3. UMass Lowell – Sixth-straight season hosting an #AEChamps contest
4. Maine– Seeking third-consecutive America East title
5. UNH – 12th-consecutive championship berth
6. Bryant – Second-straight championship appearance

No. 4 Maine will host No. 5 New Hampshire in the first quarterfinal on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 12 p.m. while 3 UMass Lowell will host No. 6 Bryant in the other quarterfinal at 4 p.m.
The winner of Maine-UNH of will visit No. 1 Binghamton in the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 6 for a 5 p.m. match and the UMass Lowell-Bryant winner will square off against No. 2 Vermont in Burlington for a 6 p.m. start.
The semifinal winners will face off for the 2025 conference title at the higher remaining seed on Sunday, Nov. 9.
Maine scored the first two goals and held off a late UNH charge to claim a tournament bid for the fourth-straight year. UMass Lowell and Bryant played to a 1-1 tie which lifted the River Hawks to the No. 3 seed and gave Bryant the No. 6 seed after NJIT defeated UMBC, 1-0. Vermont also concluded its season with a 2-1 win at UAlbany.
