#AEWLAX Week 10: Catamounts & Great Danes Split Weekly Awards

BOSTON - The Great Danes remain undefeated, handing Bryant its first loss of the year in a close 9–8 contest. The Catamounts took down the Bearcats, 13–8, and UMass Lowell knocked off UMBC in an OT thriller.

Need to Know:

  • UAlbany and Bryant faced off in a rematch of the 2025 championship, with the Great Danes recording a 9–8 victory.
  • The Catamounts were strong on both sides of the ball, taking down Binghamton, 13–8.
  • UMass Lowell knocked off UMBC, 11–10, in an OT thriller.

Looking Ahead:

  • In midweek action, the Wildcats are heading to Storrs, Conn., to take on UConn, while the River Hawks will play host to Dartmouth.
  • In league play on Saturday, Bryant will host UMBC, UAlbany will travel to Vermont, and UMass Lowell and New Hampshire will meet in Durham, N.H.
  • The Great Danes can secure the outright regular-season title and no.1 seed in the upcoming #AEWLAX Championship with a win over the Catamounts.
  • Both Bryant and Vermont have the chance to clinch championship berths on Saturday.

Offensive Player of the Week
Karina Sethi, Vermont – Jr., Attack, Greenwich, Conn.

  • Scored a career-high five goals in the Catamounts’ win over Binghamton.
  • Added a caused turnover and collected a ground ball.
  • This is Sethi's first #AEWLAX Offensive Player of the Week honor this season.

Defensive Player of the Week
Kiera Larney, Vermont – Jr., Defense, Warwick, N.Y.

  • Caused a career-high three turnovers in the 13–8 win over the Bearcats.
  • Picked up a career-high five ground balls.
  • This is Larney's first #AEWLAX Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

Goalkeeper of the Week
Grace Cincebox, UAlbany – Sr., Goalkeeper, Pittsford, N.Y.

  • Made 15 saves, posting a .650 save percentage in the win over Bryant.
  • Picked up a ground ball in the victory.
  • This is Cincebox's fifth #AEWLAX Goalkeeper of the Week honor of the season.

Rookie of the Week
Mya Carroll, UAlbany – Fr., Midfield, Fulton, N.Y.

  • Logged two goals in the Great Danes’ victory over Bryant.
  • Added two draw controls.
  • This is Carroll's fifth #AEWLAX Rookie of the Week honor.
