BOSTON – The Retrievers swept the women’s weekly awards with a relay and two individual honorees, while UAlbany, New Hampshire, and Binghamton each earned a men’s weekly award.

Female Field Athlete of the Week
Ava Roberts, UMBC – Gr., Throws, Elkins Park, Pa.
- Competed in the discus and shot put at the Penn Relays.
- Placed 13th in the discus with a throw of 45.05m and sixth in the college shot put championship with a 15.84m throw.
- This is Roberts’ second #AETF Athlete of the Week honor of the outdoor season.
Female Track Athletes of the Week
UMBC 4x400 – Lily Bandy, Leanne McDonald, Dalyce Schmidt, and Anna Creel
- Broke the Retrievers’ program record, placing 14th at the Penn Relays.
- The quartet’s time of 3:38.25 eclipsed the previous record of 3:39.07, which stood for 11 years.
Female Rookie of the Week
Enazajah Young, UMBC – Fr., Hurdles, New Market, Md.
- Qualified for the 100m Hurdle Championships and placed sixth at the Penn Relays.
- Young qualified fifth with a time of 13.45 seconds on Friday, 0.01 seconds shy of her program record, before running 13.86 on the cold, damp Saturday.
- This is Young’s third #AETF Athlete of the Week honor of the outdoor season.
Male Field Athlete of the Week
Yoofi Abaka-Amuah, New Hampshire – Sr., Throws, Worcester, Mass.
- Broke the Wildcats’ outdoor shot put record with a winning toss of 18.92 meters.
- Also took first place in the discus at the UNH Wildcat Invitational with a throw of 52.65m.
- He finished co-MVP after scoring 20 points, helping the Wildcats win the meet.
- This is Abaka-Amuah’s second #AETF Athlete of the Week honor of the outdoor season.
Male Track Athlete of the Week
Jed Elmbarki, UAlbany – R-Jr., Distance, Gafsa, Tunisia
- Finished 12th in the 3K steeplechase, running 8:51.19.
- Also ran a leg on the Great Danes’ DMR that placed sixth in the college race.
- This is Elmbarki’s first #AETF Athlete of the Week honor of the outdoor season.
Male Rookie of the Week
Gannon Traymore, Binghamton – R-Fr., Throws, Pleasantville, N.Y.
- Placed fifth in the championship division of the Penn Relays.
- His throw of 212-3 ranks No. 24 in the NCAA East Region.
- This is Traymore’s second #AETF Athlete of the Week honor of the outdoor season.
