The third-seeded Great Danes scored just once in the first half put added three goals in the third on a way to an impressive 6-1 victory over No. 6 Bryant. The Black Bears jumped out to an early lead against UMass Lowell and never trailed on the way to a nail-biting 4-3 road victory.
 
On Tuesday, No. 1 Vermont will host No. 5 Maine at 1 p.m. while No. 2 New Hampshire will welcome No. 3 UAlbany for a 2 pm matchup. The Catamounts beat Maine 4-1 in their regular season finale, while UNH shut out UAlbany 3-0 ten days ago.
 
Quarterfinal Recap
No. 3 UAlbany 6, No. 6 Bryant 1
	- The Great Danes struggled to break through early and led just 1-0 on a Jette Kurz after 30 minutes of action.
 
	- Kurz made it 2-0 three minutes into the third and then scored less than two minutes later for a hat trick and a 3-0 lead.
 
	- Emma Staron made it 4-0 at 38:51 and Tessa Overgoor extended the lead to 5-0 early in the fourth.
 
	- Kurz tallied her fourth of the game at 50:58 and Bryant got on the board in the final four minutes for a five-goal victory.
 
	- Emma Peeters wasn’t forced to make a save while earning the win in 52 minutes of action. Maud Van Lierop made six saves for the Bulldogs.
 
No. 5 Maine 4, No. 4 UMass Lowell 3
	- The scoring started quick for the visiting Black Bears as Eloise Penty connected on a penalty stroke just four minutes into the contest. They extended the lead to 2-0 three minutes late on a goal by Saylor Kuefler.
 
	- Madison Leeper broke through for the River Hawks at 11:31 to cut the deficit to 2-1 on a nice deflection near the cage. Leeper then tied the game up 2-2 just 38 seconds into the second quarter.
 
	- Maine answered just one minute later on a Nicole Kowalewski goal for a 3-2 advantage and Brynn Dzengelewski made it 4-2 at 43:39.
 
	- UML cut the deficit to 4-3 a minute later by Karlijn Kerkhof and managed three corners in the fourth quarter but the Maine defense held strong to preserve the win.
 
	- Rozarie Mrazova earned the win in the cage for Maine with six saves while Veerle Mous stopped 14 shots in defeat as Maine held a 26-16 shot advantage.
