BOSTON – On Thursday, 10 men and 10 women’s #AEXC student-athletes were recognized for their academic achievements, as members of the 2025 America East Cross Country All-Academic teams.
 
The women’s #AEXC All-Academic Team featured eight of the top 15 finishers in this year’s #AEXC Championship, highlighted by individual champion Jasmine Trott of Bryant and fourth place finisher Sydney Leitner of Binghamton. Elite 18 award winner and a top 10 finisher in the #AEXC Championship, Ruby Krasnow was also selected to the All-Academic team. An impressive four student-athletes from Maine were named to the team. 
 

 
The men’s side featured muliple 4.0 student-athletes, including Zach Hooper who was previously selected to the All-Academic team in 2024. After an impressive fifth place, Daniel Danilovitz of UMBC was also selected to the team. Nate DeAngelo, of UMass Lowell, secured the Elite-18 award for highest GPA of an All-Conference finisher is also featured on the All-Academic team. 
 

 
To be eligible for All-Academic, student-athletes must have sophomore athletic eligibility, attain a 3.30 minimum grade-point average and be a contributor on their team. The squad is voted on by a committee comprised of America East student-athlete support and athletic communications administrators as well as faculty athletic representatives.
