BOSTON – UAlbany hands Binghamton their first conference loss, Bryant remains close behind in standings after going 2-1 against UMass Lowell.
Conference play continued over the weekend as Bryant shutout UMass Lowell on Friday, defeating the River Hawks 2-0 and 8-0. Binghamton racked in 12 hits in their win over UAlbany. Action continued Saturday as UMass Lowell scored two runs in the bottom of the 7
th to secure the win and avoid the sweep against Bryant. UAlbany was able to hand Binghamton their first conference loss in a 5-2 win. The Great Danes scored two runs in the top of the seventh to insure the win.
Maine will host UMass Lowell this weekend while Binghamton travels to Bryant for conference action.

Player of the Week
Gabriella Gesualdo, Bryant – Jr., Infield, Morris Plains, N.J.
- Gesualdo batted .500 in the series against UML, with a 1.250 SLG% and .600 on-base while reaching base at least twice in every game.
- She recorded four hits, including an HR, a triple, and a double with two RBI as UML went 2-1.
- This is Gesualdo’s first #AESB Player of the Week honor of the year.
Pitcher of the Week
Maddie Wachter, Bryant– So., Pitcher, Concord, N.H.
- Wachter went 1-1 in the series against UML with a 2.76 ERA and 8 strikeouts.
- In the game one victory, she threw her fourth consecutive CG, striking out a season-high seven in a one-hit shutout with a single walk.
- This is Wachter's second #AESB Pitcher of the Week honor this year.
Rookie of the Week
Arriana Williams, Bryant – Fr., Pitcher, Lithia, Fla.
- Hit .500 in the series against UML, while slugging 1.000 and posting a .818 on-base percentage.
- Reach base 9 times in 11 at bats, including two hits, four runs and six walks as the Bulldogs won the series 2-1.
- This is William's first #AESB Rookie of the Week honor this year.
