#AEWLAX Week 3: UAlbany Knocks off No. 25 Harvard

The Catamounts started off the week by taking down Iona, 8–4. UMBC beat La Salle in running time, and the Bearcats rallied after being down 7–4 to defeat St. Bonaventure the following day. On Saturday, UAlbany, Binghamton, Bryant, and Vermont took down No. 25 Harvard, Colgate, URI, and Marist, respectively. The Great Danes’ victory over the No. 25 Crimson was the first ranked win by an #AEWLAX team this season. After four scoreless minutes in the overtime period, UAlbany’s Riley Forthofer blasted a shot past the Harvard goalie to lift the Great Danes to their second win of the season. The preseason poll was announced on January 14.
