133 Student-Athletes Named Presidential Scholar-Athletes

BOSTON – This year 133 America East student-athletes who earned their undergraduate degrees in 2024-25 have received one of the conference’s highest honors as they were named Presidential Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday afternoon. The award recognizes graduating student-athletes who compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher as an undergraduate student and earned their undergraduate degree in 2024-25.
 
In addition to registering a 3.75 GPA for their college career, honored student-athletes must have received their undergraduate degree in the academic year they are honored and have attended their institution for a minimum of two years. 
 
The Presidential Scholar-Athlete Award program started during 2013-14 academic year. In total, 1,101 student-athletes have been honored as part of the program. 

New Hampshire and Vermont led all schools with 19 honorees apiece while Bryant had 17 and Maine finished with 16 to round out the top four schools. Women's soccer had a league-best 24 honorees while women's swimming and diving had 19 honorees. Men's track & field had 15 student-athletes recognized.
