BOSTON – Binghamton continues to dominant conference play as they swept UMBC over the weekend. The Bearcats are 14-2 in conference play and are looking to finish the season strong this weekend against UAlbany.
Bryant won two straight against UAlbany to bring their conference record to 8-9. After a slow start in game one, the Bulldogs managed to bring in seven runs in the final three innings. Game two featured a walk-off in the bottom of the seventh to take down the Great Danes 1-0.
Maine secured their first conference victories this week. UMass Lowell took down the Black Bears 9-0 on Sunday, but Maine returned the favor Monday with two nail biter games. Maine was able to hold off the River Hawks 1-0 in the first game and followed it up with a 3-2 walk-off win. Francesca Guerrera singled through the right side of the infield to drive in the final run.
Conference play wraps this weekend as Maine hosts Bryant, Binghamton takes on UAlbany, and UMBC travels to UMass Lowell. The bracket for the 2025 #AESB Tournament will be announced Saturday evening and Tournament play begins on Wednesday morning at Binghamton.

- Went 3-0 with a 1.11 ER with 27 K’s in 19 innings pitched.
- Tossed a pair of complete games, including a 3-hitter with 12 strikeouts against UMBC.
- This is Roberts’ fourth #AESB Pitcher of the Week honor this season.
Rookie of the Week
Madison Simmerman, Maine – Fr., Pitcher, Linesville, PA.
- Threw a complete game in a 1-0 win over UMass Lowell
- Allowed four hits with six strikeouts to help deliver Maine’s first series win.
- This is Simmerman’s second career #AESB Rookie of the Week honor.
