Bryant Takes the No. 1 Seed as the 2025 #AEWLAX Tournament Bracket is Set!

BOSTON – The battle for the top seed came down to the final day of the regular season as Bryant took down previously unbeaten UMass Lowell 15-8 to secure a share of its first #AEWLAX Regular Season Title as well as the No. 1 seed and hosting duties in the #AEWLAX Regular Season Championship.
 
Despite Saturday’s loss, the River Hawks also earned a share of their first regular season championship, in the midst of their most successful season in program history. They will be the No. 2 Seed in the 2025 #AEWLAX Tournament and face off against No. 3 UAlbany in the Semifinals on Friday at 7 p.m.
 
Bryant missed the conference tournament via tiebreak each of the past two seasons, but won their final five conference matchups of the year after falling to UMBC in their opener. The top seeded Bulldogs will host the No. 4 Retrievers on Friday at 4 p.m.

The final seeds for the 2025 #AEWLAX Championship are:
  1. Bryant (5-1)
  2. UMass Lowell (5-1)
  3. UAlbany (4-2)
  4. UMBC (3-3)

UAlbany secured the No. 3 Seed thanks to its win thanks to a dominant 20-9 win over Binghamton to finish the regular season 4-2. UMBC concluded the year 3-3 in league play after falling to Vermont in its regular season finale by a 18-14 margin.
 
Both semifinal contests will be broadcast on ESPN+ domestically and AmericaEast.tv internationally. The semifinal winners will face off for the 2025 America East Championship on Sunday at 12 p.m. on ESPN+.
