#AESB Week 10: Binghamton Remains on Top

BOSTON – Binghamton took control of the standings and managed to complete back-to-back weekend sweeps. The Bearcats have won their last five games, including going 2-0 against Maine this past weekend. Binghamton is currently 8-2 in conference play and sits atop the standings heading into week five of conference play.

UMBC went 2-1 over the weekend against UAlbany. The Retrievers secured a 4-1 victory and a 5-1 victory, but the Great Danes didn’t go down without a fight, taking game two of the series 8-6 on Sunday. UMBC remains close behind the Bearcats in second place at 9-3 as they seek another #AESB Regular Season Championship.

Bryant had a successful weekend going 2-1 against UMass Lowell. The Bulldogs struggled to finish at the end of game one, as the River hawks outscored them 5-1 in the finals four innings. Following the loss, Bryant managed to take games two and three and are now 5-7 in conference play.
