BOSTON – The 2025 season got underway over the weekend with six teams in action. Bryant was the first team in the league to record a win downing Sacred Heart, 13-8, on Friday afternoon. On Saturday New Hampshire and UMass Lowell earned wins over Marist and Manhattan, respectively. Vermont closed out the weekend with a victory in the Sunshine State defeating Jacksonville, 11-10, in double-overtime.
All seven #AEWLAX programs are in action this week, incluiding UMBC making its season debuts.
The preseason poll was announced on January 15.
Fans will once again be able to watch the majority of the #AEWLAX this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the brand new America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.

- Caused four turnovers in vermont’s 11-10 OT win over Jacksonville

Goalkeeper of the Week
Ellie Thomas, New Hampshire - Fr., Goalkeeper, Needham, Mass.
- Logged 11 saves in collegiate debut to earn first win against the Red Foxes
- Shutout Marist in fourth quarter with four saves
- This is Thomas' first career #AEWLAX Rookie of the Week honor.
Rookie of the Week
Caitlin Haggerty, Vermont- Fr., Attack, Rockville Centre, N.Y.
- Recorded a hat-trick in her collegiate debut as she scored the game-winning double OT goal against Jacksonville
- This is Haggerty's first career #AEWLAX Rookie of the Week honor.
