America East Unveils 2024-25 Championship Schedule

BOSTON – The America East is excited to announce its 2024-25 Championship Schedule, featuring the dates for all 18 conference championships.
 
Ten champions will be crowned at predetermined sites this academic year. Field hockey, volleyball, men’s lacrosse and women's lacrosse championships will take place at the No. 1 seed while men's soccer, women's soccer, men's basketball and women's basketball will be played at the at the highest remaining seed in the championship contest.

The championship slate kicks off with men’s and women’s cross country on Saturday, Nov. 2. The University of Vermont will serve as the host at the Hard’Ark Recreation Area for the first time since 2017.

Women’s soccer will be the second championship of the season, with playoff contests taking place Nov. 3, 7 & 10. Field hockey’s six-team field will compete Nov. 7, 8 & 10 at the top overall seed, while men’s soccer will take place Nov. 4, 8 & 12. Volleyball concludes the fall championship season, with teams competing either Nov. 22-23 or 23-24 in the gym of the regular season champion.
 
This winter, men’s and women’s swimming & diving head south to compete at the Virginia Miliary Institute’s Aquatic Center for a second straight year, Feb. 19-22.  VMI is an associate member in swimming & diving. The men’s and women’s indoor track & field championship will take place at the Track and Tennis Center at Boston University on Feb. 22-23.
 
Women’s basketball begins its playoffs with quarterfinal action on Thursday, March 6, followed by the semifinals on March 10 and championship on Friday, March 14. Men’s Basketball quarterfinal contests take place on Saturday, March 8, with semifinals on March 11 and the championship on Saturday, March 15. The highest seeds will host in each round of both tournaments.
 
This spring, New Hampshire will serve as the host for the men’s and women’s outdoor track & field championship, May 3-4. That same weekend, men’s lacrosse competes for a title May 1 & 3  at the regular season champion, while the women travel to the regular season champion to play May 2 & 4.
 
The 2025 softball championship will be contested May 7-10 at Binghamton, while Maine will host the baseball championship, May 21-24.
