BOSTON – UMBC snapped UAlbany’s 10-game win streak against #AEWLAX foes, while Bryant shot past Vermont to create a log jam at the top of the league standings with just three weeks remaining in the regular season.
The Retrievers led UAlbany 11-7 after three quarters and the Great Danes closed the gap to 12-10 with 5:38 left, but UMBC allowed just one goal the rest of the way to secure the win and move to 3-1 in league play. Bryant had arguably its most impressive #AEWLAX victory, leading UVM 10-5 at the half on the way to a 21-10 victory as the Bulldogs improved to 2-1 in conference action. UMass Lowell also secured its first conference win. 18-10 over New Hampshire.
