Binghamton Moves into First in #AESB Standings; 3 Programs Honored in Week 12

Boston, MA - 5 #AESB teams were in action throughout the week with Bryant sweeping Holy Cross, UMass Lowell taking one from Stonehill, Maine taking one from Holy Cross, and UAlbany sweeping Army and splitting their double header with CCSU. 
 
The second to last weekend of #AESB brought some movement into the standings. Binghamton took over the first place slot after going 3-0 over Bryant this weekend. UAlbany holds strong in the third place slot after going 2-1 against UMBC. And UMass Lowell swept the Black Bears earning them 3 more conference wins.

Here are the week 12 #AESB Award Winners:
 
Player of the Week 
Allison L’Amoreaux, Binghamton - Sr., Pitcher, Endwell, NY 
  • L'Amoreaux finished the week slashing .500/.857/1.42 with 7 hits, 4 runs, adding 4 RBI, 2 doubles, and one homerun.  
  • Against the Bulldogs, L’Amoreaux hit a team-best .636 with a home run and four RBI. In the series final on Sunday, she had the game-winning RBI double.
  • L'Amoreaux also stepped up to the mound and went 2-0 against Bryant with a 2.50 ERA. She struck out 10 batters and issued just three walks in 14.0 innings. She finished the week with a 2-1 pitching record and a 2.67 ERA. 
 
Pitcher of the Week 
Ryley White, UMass Lowell - Sr., Pitcher, Wareham, MA
  • Had 2 wins in the circle this week, leading the River Hawks to a 4-1 week including an #AESB sweep against Maine. 
  • White recorded her 500th career strikeout this past weekend, striking out 32 in 23.1 innings pitched and holding a 1.52 ERA. 
 
Rookie of the Week 
Makenna Coleman, Bryant - Fr., Outfield, Glendora, CA 
  • Tallied a .286 batting average with 4 hits and 6 RBI. Coleman added 2 home runs, one double, and a stolen base for the Bulldogs.
  • Finished the week slugging .786 and scored in 5 runs.
