BOSTON, MA - 5 #AESB teams opened up March with success over the weekend. Maine split their Friday doubleheader with Delaware with a 5-2 win. UMass Lowell and Bryant both were able to earn a win taking down Towson and Alabama St., respectively.
Binghamton went 3-1 this weekend defeating Western Michigan, Mercer, and taking one from Gardner-Webb. UAlbany closed out their weekend going 4-1 beating Western Michigan, St. Bonaventure, Monmouth, and Sacred Heart.

Player of the Week
Morgan Petty, UAlbany - Gr., Outfield, Milford, DE
- Petty led the Great Danes with nine RBI, added a grand slam and back to back three-run homers this past weekend.
- Petty ended the weekend with slugging .938, and helped UAlbany go 4-1 this past weekend.
Pitcher of the Week
Brianna Roberts, Binghamton - So., Pitcher, Monroe, NY
- Roberts went 1-0 with a save and a perfect 0.00 ERA as the Bearcats went 3-1 this past weekend.
- She went 6.1 innings and struck out a season-best 10 batters against North Carolina A&T on Saturday and came back with three scoreless innings in relief against Mercer the following day to nail down her third save of the season
Rookie of the Week
Mary Kate Murray, UAlbany - Fr., Infield, East Brunswick, NJ
- Started in all 5 of UAlbany’s games and finished the weekend with a .467 batting average.
- Murray had seven hits, four RBI, and one double.
