BOSTON – Binghamton stretched its win streak to a school-record six games with a win over Vermont, while UAlbany remained unbeaten with a victory against UMass Lowell to highlight last weekend’s action.
Binghamton continued its best start in program history by outscoring Vermont 6-3 in the second half for an 11-10 victory against the defending champions. UAlbany took care of business against the River Hawks, beating them 19-13 on the road. In the third game of the week, Bryant improved to 2-1 in league play with a tight 13-12 win in Baltimore. In non-conference action, New Hampshire took down Columbia 13-8 earlier in the week.
Conference action begins on Friday this week as UAlbany hosts UMBC, followed by the Great Danes playing No. 2. Northwestern on Saturday at 5 p.m. Binghamton looks to extend its win streak against Bryant on the road, while Vermont hosts New Hampshire.
The preseason poll was announced on January 26.

Offensive Player of the Week
Kenna Kaut, Bryant – Jr., Attack, Media, Pa.
- Scored a career-high eight goals in 13-12 win over UMBC.
- Had four of the team’s five goals in the fourth quarter while also adding three draw controls and three ground balls.
- This is Kaut’s first career #AEWLAX Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Defensive Player of the Week
Angelina Suau, Binghamton – So., Midfield, Garden City, N.Y.
- Had six caused turnovers and four ground balls in an 11-10 win over UVM.
- Helped hold UVM scoreless for over 20 straight minutes as the team improved to 3-0 in conference play.
- This is Suau’s first career #AEWLAX Defensive Player of the Week honor.
Rookie of the Week
Audra Hansen, UMass Lowell – Fr., Midfield, Stamford, Conn.
- Scored three goals in a loss to UAlbany.
- Added two caused turnovers and one ground ball.
- This is Hansen’s third #AEWLAX Rookie of the Week honor.
