BOSTON – All 6 #AESB teams earned a conference win in Week 9 of play. Binghamton, Bryant, and UMBC took their series, although UMass Lowell held-off the Retrievers in Game 2 of their matchup, to snap UMBC’s unbeaten streak and third straight series sweep.
This week finds the River Hawks travelling up to Maine to take on the Black Bears, while the Retrievers continue their roadtrip with a series in Albany to take on the 2nd place Great Danes. Meanwhile, Binghamton travels to Bryant where the two will faceoff for the first time in program history.

Player of the Week
Courtney Paolantonio, Bryant - Jr., 2nd Base, Earleville, Md.
- Went 6-for-10 (.600) in series win vs. Maine.
- Recorded 4 RBI, a double, and 2 runs, including a solo home run, over the three-game series.
- ?This is Bryant's and Paolantonio's first #AESB Player of the Week honor.
Pitcher of the Week
Courtney Coppersmith, UMBC – Gr., Pitcher, York, Pa.
- In 12.1 innings of work, totaled 20 strikeouts and a pair of saves.
- Allowed only 6 hits, 1 walk, and 1 earned run in the series win vs. UMass Lowell.
- This is Coppersmith's first #AESB honor of the season.
Rookie of the Week
Brianna Roberts, Binghamton – Fr., Pitcher, Monroe, N.Y.
- Went 2-0 vs. UAlbany, allowing only 3 earned runs in 14 innings.
- Struck out 17 total on the week, including a career-high 12 in Binghamton's 4-2 series opening win.
- This is Robert's third honor of the season.
