Women's Lacrosse 3/6/2023 1:00:00 PM #AEWLAX Week 4: Six Programs Secure Wins BOSTON – Six different programs earned victories last week and four teams are currently at .500 or better as every program has played at least five games this season. UAlbany, Bryant, Binghamton, UMass Lowell and UMBC all went 1-1 last week. UAlbany earned its lone victory against Colgate, while Bryant took down Quinnipiac 13-12 in overtime. Binghamton beat Lafayette, UMass Lowell defeated Stetson and UMBC earned a 15-7 victory over Robert Morris. This week, nine contests are scheduled to take place, beginning with Vermont traveling to Harvard on Tuesday. UAlbany will make a trip out west to No. 18 Stanford, while UMass Lowell faces off No. 22 Jacksonville down in Florida. Finished with nine goals in a 1-1 week. Had a career-high nine goals, the second-most in the NCAA this year, in a 19-14 win over Colgate. Picked up three ground balls and had three shots in a loss to No. 2 Syracuse This is Falk’s first Offensive Player of the Week honor in 2023. Defensive Player of the Week Carolyn Carrera, Vermont – Gr., Defender, Harriman, N.Y. Matched a career-high with seven caused turnovers, the second most in the NCAA this season, in a loss to Fairfield. Added six ground balls in the contest. Rookie of the Week Audra Hansen, UMass Lowell – Fr., Midfielder, Stamford, Conn. Posted four goals, three ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 1-1 week.
