BOSTON – Six programs came away with victories last week, including a pair of 2-0 performances from UAlbany and UMass Lowell.
UAlbany dispatched Fairfield early in the week and then posted an impressive 8-7 road victory over Brown on Saturday. The River Hawks, meanwhile, took down Stonehill and Sacred Heart to improve to 4-1 overall. Preseason favorite Vermont got its first win of the season on Sunday, with a 21-3 decision against FDU.
This week, 13 more non-conference games take place, highlighted by Bryant traveling to Dartmouth and UAlbany playing at No. 2 Syracuse in a pair of mid-week matchups.
The preseason poll was announced on January 26.

Offensive Player of the Week
Katie Pascale, UAlbany – Jr., Midfielder, Baldwinsville, N.Y.
- Totaled 14 points with eight goals and 17 draw controls in a 2-0 week.
- Finished with five goals, four assists and 12 draws in a 17-13 win over Fairfield
- Had three, goals two assists, five draws and scored the game-winning goal against Brown with 11 seconds left.
- This is Pascale’s second straight Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Defensive Player of the Week
Aislinn Sweeney, UAlbany – Sr., Goalkeeper, Halfmoon, N.Y.
- Finished with 18 saves and a .563 save percentage in a 2-0 week.
- Posted eight saves with seven goals allowed in 45 minutes against Fairfield
- Made ten saves and gave up seven goals in an 8-7 win over Brown.
Rookie of the Week
Audra Hansen, UMass Lowell – Fr., Midfielder, Stamford, Conn.
- Posted five goals on six shots with one assist in a 2-0 week.
- Had four points (3g, 1a) in a win over Stonehill
- Scored twice with one caused turnover against Sacred Heart.
