New Hampshire, Vermont Ranked in Top 100 of Winter Directors' Cup Standings

The University of New Hampshire and the University of Vermont each ranked inside the top 100 of the 2021-22 LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup standings. In total, eight America East institutions were ranked.

America East is one of just five non-FBS conferences with two schools ranked in the Top 100 and one of just 14 overall. Only six non-FBS conferences had as many as eight schools earning points.

New Hampshire earned points in the fall with a trip to the Sweet Sixteen in men's soccer. Vermont was a national runner-up at NCAA Skiing Championships this winter.

The LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.

About America East: The America East provides its member schools and their athletic programs a platform upon which student-athletes can achieve both collegiate and life success through the promotion and nurturing of athletic excellence, academic achievement and leadership, on and off the field.
