BOSTON – Vermont won the America East conference opener last weekend, topping UMass Lowell by a score of 18-8.
The Catamounts have now won five in a row and are a league-best 7-1 overall. They travel to No. 6 Stony Brook for a Saturday afternoon tilt on ESPN+. The Seawolves are one of six teams scheduled to open their league slates on Saturday. New Hampshire hosts UMass Lowell and UAlbany hosts Binghamton in the other games.

- Scored eight goals and added two assists for 10-point game against Robert Morris.
- Recorded her 100th career point in the win.
- This is her second Player of the Week honor this season and third of her career.
Defensive Player of the Week
Carolyn Carrera, Vermont – Sr., Defender, Harriman, N.Y.
- 14 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers in 2-0 week.
- Seven caused turnovers against Manhattan tied the most in a single game by any player in the country this season.
- This is Carrera’s third Player of the Week nod this season.
Rookie of the Week
Allie Connerty, New Hampshire – Fr., Attack, Norwell, Mass.
- Two goals, four assists in two games.
- Scored her two goals in UNH’s win over Bryant while also adding a pair of assists.
- This is her first career #AEWLAX weekly honor.
