BOSTON – Four #AEWLAX programs were in action last week including UAlbany and New Hampshire beginning their 2021 seasons. No. 5 Stony Brook dominated No. 15 USC on Tuesday in a 15-3 rout.
Conference play is scheduled for Thursday as Hartford is slated to host Vermont at 3:30 p.m. UMBC, fresh off a thrilling 12-11 victory over VCU, will host Stony Brook on Friday.
Fans will once again be able to watch the majority of #AEWLAX this season. Select games will air on The AE on ESPN while others will air on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the brand new America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.

Offensive Player of the Week
Taryn Ohlmiller, Stony Brook – Gr., Attack, Islip, N.Y.
- Led Stony Brook with a career-high six goals against No. 15 USC.
- Ohlmiller totaled ten points on six goals and four assists in two games against ranked opponents.
- The attack distributed a trio of assists against No. 2 Syracuse.
- This is Ohlmiller’s second career Offensive Player of the Week denomination.
Defensive Player of the Week
Lexi Roberts, UMBC – Sr., Goalkeeper, Baldwin, Md.
- Recorded 10 saves in win over VCU.
- Allowed just three goals in the second half, enabling UMBC to complete the comeback.
- Totaled a game-high four ground balls.
- This is the second career #AEWLAX honor of Roberts’s career.
Rookie of the Week
Katie Pascale, UAlbany – Fr., Midfield, Baldwinsville, Md.
- Totaled six points in three games as part of the Great Danes’ 2-1 week.
- Had a three-point day in Thursday's win against St. Bonaventure.
- Pascale notched her first career hat trick on Sunday against Colgate.
- This is her first Rookie of the Week award.
