Binghamton Sweeps #AESB Major Awards as All-Conference Honors are Announced

BOSTON – Following one of the best regular seasons in program history, Binghamton took home all four #AESB major awards and had seven first-team all-conference selections as major awards, All-Conference, All-Rookie and All-Academic honors were announced on Tuesday afternoon.

After leading Binghamton to a 16-2 mark in conference play, sophomore Elisa Allen was recognized as the Player of the Year, while Brianna Roberts was honored as the Pitcher of the Year. Rachel Carey took home Rookie of the Year honors and Jess Bump was selected as Coach of the Year. Binghamton is the first program to win all four awards outright since Boston University back in 2007.

The award winners were determined in a vote by the league's head coaches who were not permitted to vote for their own players. The All-Academic selections were chosen by a committee of athletic administrators.
