Three Things I Can’t Live Without:
1. Family 2. Basketball 3. Cell phone

Q. Why I Chose University of Hartford:
A- I chose Hartford because I liked the coaching staff and felt I would be comfortable here. Also, the school has a good academic reputation.

Q. Favorite class and why:
A- English class was my favorite from my first semester. My professor was very good and I learned a lot in the course. I also think I got better at writing papers, which should help me out next semester.

Q. One thing I have learned at University at Hartford that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is:
A- So far, the one thing I’ve learned is to be on time. That goes for classes, study hall and basketball.

Q. My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is:
A- I don’t have one yet, because I’m still deciding what I want to do in life.

Q. The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why:
A- My AAU coach, Patrick Grant, has probably had the most influence on me. I’ve known him since I was 10 years old, so he’s like another father figure for me. He coached me for eight years, and I learned a lot about basketball from him. More importantly, he also made me a better person.

Q. The best thing about being a Hartford Hawk is:
A- The best thing about being a Hawk is that there are a lot of people who care about you?coaches, teammates, our academic advisor, and fans.

Q. Most memorable moment as an athlete:
A- During my senior year in high school, I hit a buzzer-beater against (Hartford teammate) Charles White’s team to win the game. His team made a three-pointer to go up by one, and I took the ball off the inbounds pass and went coast-to-coast for a layup. We became even bigger rivals after that game, but we’re good now because we play for the same team.

Q. What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall):
A- There’s not a lot going on right now because we’re in winter break, but I’ve been doing some math work for a course I’m taking.

Q. What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games):
A- We played at Yale on Saturday and then had the next day off. Today it’s back to practice, and we’ll have a lifting session afterwards. Tomorrow we’ll have another practice, and then on Wednesday we have a big game against Maine.

Q. Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is:
A- Aim high, and always strive to reach your goals.

Q. Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship:
A- I want our team to improve throughout the season and be ready to win once tournament time comes around. You always want to play your best and hopefully win a championship.
