? Meagan Riemer’s goal in the 76th minute lifted Hartford to a 1-0 win over Maine and the Hawks’ first America East Women’s Soccer Championship since 2002.

? Hartford and Boston University each advanced to the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship. It was the 13th trip for the Hawks and the fifth appearance for the Terriers, including three in the last four years.

? Liz Cook and Riemer of Hartford, Lauren Erwin of Boston University and Marie-Andree Canuel of Maine, each of whom received first-team honors, led 11 America East players on the NSCAA/adidas All-Region team.

? Boston University posted a 1-0 road victory against then-No. 3 Santa Clara on Sept. 15. The win helped lead to the program’s first-ever at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.
