America East Commissioner Brad Walker announced on October 18, 2024 the hiring of Grace Dzindolet as Assistant Director of Operations & Communications. Dzindolet comes to America East from Springfield College where she was a graduate assistant.
"We are thrilled to welcome Grace to our staff to fill out our content and operations teams,” said Walker. “Grace’s experience in a variety of areas makes her a great fit to round out our staff as we continue to strive to server our membership to the best of our abilities.”
At Springfield, Dzindolet was a graduate associate within the Pride athletic department. The Holliston, Mass. native served as an event supervisor for field hockey, football, women’s basketball and women’s lacrosse. Her responsibilities included managing student staff, official vouchers, ticket sales and event operations.
She also helped co-direct multiple NCAA Championship events including the first round of football, first and second rounds of women’s lacrosse, and men’s gymnastics ECAC Championship. During her undergraduate career, she was an intern at the Women’s Sports Foundation, Chatham Anglers of the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League, and the Spaulding Hoophall Classic.
"I'm honored to join the America East Conference and excited to contribute to its continued success. I look forward to applying my experience to strengthen the organization while embracing the opportunity to learn and grow in this dynamic environment,” Dzindolet stated.
In her role at America East, she will manage office operations and conference meeting plans, alongside supporting the content team as a primary communications contact in select sports. Dzindolet will execute social and digital media strategies, write press releases, website maintenance, and championship preparation and coverage.
