Lexington, Ky. – A pair of America East student-athletes qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. After competing in ECAC/IC4A events last weekend, several teams traveled to Lexington to compete in the NCAA preliminary round. Upon the completion of three days of competition, New Hampshire junior Elinor Purrier and Albany freshman Adrian Mitchell punched their ticket to Eugene.

Highlights

• Elinor Purrier is headed back to Eugene for the second straight year after winning the women's 3000-meter steeplechase in a time of 9:50.51
• Adrian Mitchell qualified for the finals in the men's javelin with a throw of 212'10”
