BOSTON – Three All-Conference Singles First Team members, and two members of the All-Conference Doubles Second-Team highlight the 2015 America East Women’s Tennis All-Conference Academic Team.
Stony Brook senior Cassandra Dix is a repeat, unanimous honoree, and in addition she was inaugural recipeient of the Elite 18 award. Binghamton’s Katherine Medianik joins her as a back-to-back team member.
Dix was an All-Conference Second Team member last year, and Medianik was voted onto the All-Conference First Team this season.
The other unanimous selection is Albany’s Alba Sala. The sophomore hailing from Barcelona, Spain was named to the All-Conference Singles First Team this season, and All-Conference Doubles Second Team.
The remaining selections on the 2015 All-Conference Academic Team are Mireille Hermans of Albany, Shea Brodsky from Binghamton, and Carolina Zanotta for NJIT.
