#AEToday: 10 Games on AmericaEast.TV Sunday

America East's newest web feature, #AEToday, will offer quick hits on what's happening in the conference, including upcoming conference games, key results, must know facts and much more!

Need To Know

  • AmericaEast.TV will be busy today with 10 games on the docket as a total of 12 games will be played aroud the league.
  • Stony Brook men's and women's lacrosse will host non-league games on AmericaEast.TV. The women's side has a top-10 matchup as the No. 9/7 Seawolves battle No. 5/5 Northwestern at noon. Stony Brook has a quick turnaround after a 12-5 win over Vermont Saturday that clinched a spot in the America East tournament. The No. 18/14 men's side takes on Lehigh at 3 PM.
  • Four softball games will all be broadcast on AmericaEast.TV. Albany and UMBC will play the lone doubleheader beginning at 11:30 AM. The Retrievers won game one of the series on Saturday, 3-2.
  • Maine and UMass Lowell will finish their series at noon as the Black Bears go for the sweep. UMaine won game one, 7-0, before winning an extra inning contest, 4-3, in game two.
  • Stony Brook also goes for the sweep at noon against Hartford as the Seawolves bats came alive in a doubleheader sweep on Saturday with 16-3 and 8-0 wins.
  • Three America East baseball games ended with walk-offs on Saturday.
  • Stony Brook swept a doubleheader from UMBC to win its fourth-straight conference series to start the year. Robert Chavarria capped a 5-1 comeback with a single in the bottom of the eighth to give the Seawolves a 6-5 win in game two. The teams finish the series at noon Sunday.
  • Hartford and Binghamton split a doubleheader on Saturday including the Hawks winning in dramatic fashion in game one on a walk-off single in the 10th. The rubber game starts at noon on Sunday.
  • Maine and UMass Lowell play a doubleheader on Sunday starting at noon. The River Hawks won in extra innings on an Ian Strom walk-off double.
  • Albany will host the 2015 America East men's lacrosse championship after a, 15-11, win over Binghamton on Saturday. Lyle Thompson tied the NCAA career points record with 354 after totaling seven points vs. the Bearcats.
  • Hartford won a non-conference battle, 15-8, over UMass.
  • Vermont mounted a tremendous comeback, scoring eight of the final 10 goals to beat UMBC, 11-10.
