#AEToday: Albany Clinches Share of Men's #AEHoops Title

  • Day 2 of the America East Indoor Track & Field Championships continue from The New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory. You can watch live on AmericaEast.TV beginning at 9:30 a.m.
  • Albany beat Hartford in a nationally-televised game on ESPNU, 70-64, to clinch at-least a share of the America East regular-season title and now worse than a No. 2 seed in the #AEPlayoffs.
  • The Hartford loss also clinched home quarterfinals games for both New Hampshire and Stony Brook.
  • 5 #AEHoops games are set for Saturday including three of the men's side.
  • UMBC hosts Maine on ESPN3 at 1 p.m. 
  • New Hampshire is at UMass Lowell to play the second game of a doubleheader at the Tsongas Center at 4 p.m.
  • Stony Brook hosts Binghamton at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.
  • On the women's side, UMass Lowell hosts UNH and Binghamton welcomes Maine for 2 p.m. tip-offs.
  • After having games cancelled on Friday, Albany and Hartford baseball will play their opening games on Saturday.
  • In softball, UMass Lowell swept a doubleheader, while Albany and Stony Brook split games. The Seawolves won their second game in dramatic fashion, battling back from a 2-0 deficit to win, 3-2, in nine innings.
  • Men's lacrosse has a full day of games, including the first-ever home game for UMass Lowell as they host Siena at noon.
  • Albany and reigning Co-Tewaaraton winner, Lyle Thompson, take the field for the first time today against Drexel at noon.
  • In women's lacrosse, Stony Brook opens the season against USC, while Albany opens its season on the road against Quinnipiac.
