- Road teams had the upper hand in America East basketball action Saturday going 6-2.
- In men's action, Vermont improved to 4-0 in league play with a 71-54 win at UMBC. The Catamounts led by just two at halftime but outscored the Retrievers, 38-22, after halftime.
- Stony Brook won for the sixth time in its last seven games as it shot 60 percent from the floor and made a season-high 34 field goals in an 82-39 rout of Maine. Carson Puriefoy had a game-high 18 points.
- Hartford trailed UMass Lowell by six with less than three minutes remaining but scored the final six points of regulation, capped by Justin Graham's three-pointer with 25.5 seconds left and prevailed, 68-62, in overtime to move to 3-1 in America East action. Mark Nwakamma had his first double-double (20 points, 11 rebounds) of the season.
- Tanner Leissner scored 17 points and added nine boards to lead New Hampshire back to .500 (9-9) with a 73-66 overtime win at Binghamton.
- In women's action, Sigi Koizar and Liz Wood combined for 40 of Maine's 58 points in a 58-55 win at Stony Brook. Koizar went for a career-high 23 points while Wood added 17 and nine rebounds.
- Hartford held UMass Lowell to just 20 first-half points and cruised to a 67-56 win. Cherelle Moore led two Hawks in twin figures with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting.
- UMBC picked up its first league win and snapped a six-game losing skid with a 68-61 victory at Vermont. Capree Garner and Taylor McCarley led the way, combining for 39 points, 14 rebounds, nine steals and seven assists
- Carlie Pogue had a monster double-double of 17 points and 17 boards to lead UNH to its third-straight win, a 73-68 victory over Binghamton. The Wildcats sit in second place in America East at 4-1.
