- Albany and Vermont men remain the two lone unbeaten teams at 3-0 in conference play with wins on Saturday.
- Vermont beat Stony Brook for the 5th time in the last 7 meetings, 71-57, at Patrick Gym in a game broadcast on ESPN3.
- Albany avenged a loss at Costello Gym a year ago with a 64-51 victory over UMass Lowell. The Great Danes are 3-0 in conference play for the first time since 2006-07 when they started 5-0.
- Binghamton won its first conference game of the year, erasing an early 13-point deficit to go on to beat Maine, 65-46.
- UNH women continued its best start since 2005-06 with a 67-45 win against UMBC. The Wildcats are 2-1 in conference and 10-5 overall.
- Binghamton women are 2-1 in conference play for the first time since starting 2-0 in 2011-12 with a 73-62 win against Vermont. Sherae Swinson led the Bearcats with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
- Maine picked-up a big road win over Hartford to go to 1-1 in the America East while the Hawks dropped to 2-1. The Black Bears have won at Hartford in back-to-back seasons for the first time since winning in 2004 and 2005.
- One men's and women's conference game will be played Sunday on AmericaEast.TV.
- On the men's side, UMBC hosts UNH at 1 p.m. while UMass Lowell hosts Albany on the women's side.
