INDIANPOLIS, Ind. - Just two days after the Seawolves clinched their third-straight America East Women’s Tennis Championship, the Seawolves have learned their NCAA draw.

The Seawolves will travel to No. 10 seed Texas A&M in the first round on Friday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. Texas A&M was ranked No. 8 in the country before falling to No. 3 Alabama in the SEC semis, 4-2.

Stony Brook, who was crowned the 2014 AE champions after a 4-0 victory over associate member NJIT, enters the NCAA tournament with a 15-3 overall record for their third consecutive trip. The Seawolves are just the second America East member to earn three-straight rides to the NCAAs on the women’s side.

Stony Brook is led by the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, Polina Movchan, who went 11-3 from the singles top-spot on the season.

Tournament matches will be regulation dual matches with three eight-game, pro-set doubles played for one team point, followed by six singles matches, each valued at one team point, played in best-of-three sets.  Regular scoring will be used and a 12-point tiebreaker will be played at seven-games-all in doubles and at six-games-all in singles.

Binghamton, who won the America East Men's Championship for the seventh-straight year, will not compete in the NCAAs as they fell short of the minimum number of teams in order to receive an at-large bid.
