CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Boston University senior Vivien Laszloffy has been name the America East women’s Tennis Player of the Week after two strong performances. No nominations were submitted for this week’s men’s Player of the Week award.
Laszloffy (Budapest, Hungary) helped the Terriers to a split in their two matches last week. The senior started things off by winning in No. 2 singles against South Alabama without dropping a single game (6-0, 6-0). Laszloffy helped clinch Boston U.’s 4-3 victory by winning in No. 2 doubles as well. Two days later, she earned a second consecutive win at the No. 2 singles position, again claiming victory in straight sets.

- Binghamton fell to St. John’s 4-3, with Robin Lesage claiming a win at No. 2 singles.
- Boston U. did not play last week and is scheduled to take on Merrimack tomorrow.
- Hartford has a pair of matches, against Merrimack and Wagner, scheduled this week.
- UMBC was idle last week, but will travel to play the College of Charleston and James Madison this week.
- Stony Brook will resume its schedule this afternoon at Army.

- Binghamton fell 7-0 to Cornell and will resume play this Sunday at Richmond.

- Stony Brook downed St. John’s 4-3 and Jackie Altansarnai won at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles.
