The
Albany and Stony Brook women’s lacrosse teams have a combined 4-0 record on the
young season and Inside Lacrosse has taken notice.
Sitting
at No. 16 in the latest deBeer media poll, the Great Danes found a groove in
their season-opening win over Niagara – a 19-9 drubbing. Ariana Parker and
company also rank 16th in the Inside Lacrosse Women power rankings.
Joe
Spallina and the Seawolves are off to a 3-0 start, turning heads in the
lacrosse world and sliding into the power rankings, themselves, at the No. 20
slot. Stony Brook has scored 37 goals in its last two games – both blowouts
over Manhattan and Central Connecticut.

men’s lacrosse, Hartford is receiving votes to be included in the Nike Top 20 Poll.
The Hawks played tough at No. 7 Maryland over the weekend.

in women’s hoops, Boston University remains pat in the CollegeInsider.com
Mid-Major Top 25 at No. 19. Albany, meanwhile, received 11 votes in the last
voting session.
