BOSTON, Mass. – Episode
three of season seven of America East On Campus, the conference’s half hour
magazine show highlighting what’s happening around the league, debuts this
weekend on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet throughout New
England with subsequent airings on CSN and the Mid Atlantic Sports Network (MASN).
The
show comes to you from Boston University where we meet with the Terrier women’s
and Stony Brook men’s basketball teams, which, after advancing to the conference
title games in 2011, have unfinished business on the hardwood this season.
Host
Eric Frede also visits the with Boston University high jumper Allison Barwise,
the defending America East indoor and outdoor champion. The show then takes a
trip highlighting all of our fall season scholar-athletes, who represent the
best of the America East Conference. Frede then wraps up the episode with a
feature on Hartford women’s basketball player Ruthanne Doherty and how she
wants to help people in her father’s home country of Sierra Leone get
prosthetic limbs.
