In this edition of "America East Online", the show profiles the latest stories and achievements of the America East Conference. America East Online is a 20-minute web-only show which features all nine of the conference's campuses and highlights athletics, academics and leadership.

The episode begins with a profile of UMBC women's lacrosse head coach Kelly Berger, who led the Retrievers to the America East Championship game in her first season. Berger, who is one of the youngest head coaches in the country, discusses her expectations heading into this season and her dream to win a gold medal with Team USA. 

The next segment takes fans behind the scenes of the preparation of the Big Apple Battle. Footage from a film session with Boston University and inside the locker room before the game with University at Albany gives viewers a unique perspective into all the preparation that goes into an important conference matchup.

The student-athlete profile this week features "America East Online" host Max Mandel in an interview with Maine senior forward Troy Barnies, who has emerged as one of the top forwards in the league in his final year in Orono. In the interview, Barnies discusses the keys to his improvement throughout his career, as well as what it would mean to be part of the first Maine team to secure a postseason berth. 

The episode concludes with the Best of U. series. This Best of U. focuses on the University at Albany men's basketball team and its tour of the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Jerome L. Green Family Center. Interviews with men's basketball coach Will Brown and junior forward Billy Allen discuss the importance of stepping away from basketball and learning about community centers like Hope Lodge.
