America East On Campus, the conference's
30-minute magazine show, gives fans an inside look at the need-to-know basketball storylines in the fourth
installment of the show's sixth season. The episode will air Friday, February 11 at
4 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet throughout New England.
University of New Hampshire in Durham serves as the backdrop for episode 4 of the sixth season of On Campus. Host Eric Frede begins with a hoop notebook as the regular season begins to wind down. Frede looks into the top teams on both the men's and women's side and how those teams have put themselves in favorable positions midway through the second go-round the conference slate.
The next segment features an interview with Boston U. men's basketball senior John Holland, who recently scored his 2,000th career point. Holland looks back at his outstanding career in America East. An interview with University of New Hampshire Athletic Director Marty Scarano follows as he discusses the successes of the Wildcat programs, both on and off the court.
Frede continues with an entertaining interview with University of Vermont men's basketball seniors Joey Accaoui and Evan Fjeld in the Best of U. segment. The pair discusses the Catamounts' motivations and what they have accomplished in 2010-11. The episode wraps up with an intriguing segment inside a basketball official's game day. Women's basketball official Joanne Aldrich is mic'd up during a recent game at Lundholm Gym.
America East On
Campus is produced by Cod Rock Media of Kittery, Maine, which is owned by Frede
and Dan Hannigan. Six original episodes will be produced and distributed during
the 2010-11 season. Comcast SportNet in New England will debut all six episodes,
while several re-airings will also air on the network. MASN, located in the
Baltimore/Washington D.C. area, will also carry the show, as will Time Warner
Cable in New York.
The show will also be available in the AmericaEast Zone at AmericaEast.com and
on the conference's YouTube page following the debut airing.
Episode 4 will debut on Time Warner later Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. Episode 4 of On Campus re-air Saturday morning on Comcast at 11 a.m. and then again Sunday at 3 p.m., immediately following the Boston U. at Hartford women's basketball game. Stay tuned to
