CAMBRIDGE,
Mass. - The Binghamton University men will face Georgia Tech while the Boston
University women will play #11 University of Miami in the 2010 NCAA Men's and
Women's Tennis Championship as announced on Tuesday evening by the national
office.
The Bearcats (25-1), which are ranked 47th in the country and have
achieved a program record 23 straight wins, will face Georgia Tech (17-7) at
Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Men's Championship on May 15 at 10 a.m. The Bearcats defeated UMBC at the America East Championship on Sunday, May
2, to earn their third consecutive NCAA tournament bid.

The Terriers (11-11) will play 11th-seeded Miami (17-5) in the first-round of
the NCAA Women's Championship on Miami's home court on May 14 at 1 p.m. Boston U. is
making its 12th straight trip to the tournament after downing
Binghamton, 4-3, in a hard-fought match on Sunday, May 2. Boston U. faced Miami
at the 2006 NCAA tournament, falling 4-0 to the Miami squad in the first round.

The NCAA format is a single-elimination tournament at 16 first- and
second-round sites, with four teams at each site. Regional winners will advance
to the nationals, held May 20-25 in Athens, Georgia. Thirty-one conferences
received automatic bids to the tournament, with the other 33 teams earning
at-large berths.
